"Dr. Sunitha Karunakaran is a District Laboratory Officer with the Animal Disease Control Project, Department of Animal Husbandry, Kerala, India, and a highly experienced Veterinary Microbiologist with over 20 years of expertise in laboratory diagnosis and disease control. She began her career in 2005 and has since played a key role in strengthening diagnostic and surveillance systems in animal health. Her research contributions include work on Pasteurella multocida detection using PCR, as well as major projects on poultry health and tick-borne pathogens affecting livestock. She has an extensive publication record, including a book, multiple international and national research articles, and numerous scientific presentations. Her excellence has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the State Award for Best Laboratory Officer (2020) and Best Veterinarian honors. Her work continues to contribute significantly to veterinary microbiology, particularly in advancing disease diagnostics and control strategies."

"Prof. Zhang Yong is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Energy and Environmental Science, Yunnan Normal University. He earned his B.S. in Applied Chemistry from the University of Jinan, his M.S. from Nanjing University of Technology, and his Ph.D. from the Beijing Institute of Technology. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Jinan and the National Institutes of Health (USA). With an extensive academic record, he has published more than 200 papers in SCI-indexed journals. His research is supported by several major funding sources, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Yunnan Provincial Funds for Applied Basic Research, and the Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation. His work focuses on low-dimensional optoelectronic functional nanomaterials and metal nanomaterials, as well as electroanalysis and chemical sensing technologies. He is also engaged in the development and application of agricultural chemical sensors, contributing to advancements in environmental monitoring and sustainable agricultural practices through innovative materials and analytical approaches."
